This is the second benefit concert we have organized for Ghana.
It was a fantastic evening with a presentation by Kirsi Korosec, great African music from the Perchtoldsdorf children's choir under the direction of Ingrid Verbaeys, and a delicious buffet afterwards!
Almost every year before Christmas, we sell "Give a Book" vouchers.
This involves giving someone this voucher, which says: "This voucher was used to give a school book to a child in Ghana."
You can get this vouchers as a small Christmas present for €10.
Nice people come up to Kirsi and tell her that they have a milestone birthday or golden wedding anniversary coming up. As they already have everything they need, they would like to collect donations for our project instead of gifts.
That makes us very happy! Through such gestures from different people, we can achieve great things together!
The Montessori School am Sonnberg organized a Christmas event. The donations from this event go to a project that was presented by a pupil and then chosen by the school.
Smile of Nipa was chosen for this event!
Here you can find out about a courageous girl.
Smile of Nipa is one of three projects in the Perchtoldsdorf parish's Alleweltkreis.
This means that we regularly receive donations through the parish café, Kirtag, Soup Sunday and other events.
We are also allowed to use Marienkirche for benefit concerts and to hold our book drives in front of the church.
Dafür sind wir sehr dankbar!
A joint charity concert was held for Ghana.
The Perchtoldsdorf children's choir sang African songs under the direction of Ingrid Verbaeys.
Kirsi also gave a speech about Ghana.
This was followed by a buffet.
